Getting Started with Goloris

Learn how to create your first mobile app without writing a single line of code. Follow our step-by-step guide to build, customize, and publish your app in minutes.

1. Create a New App

Start your journey by creating a new app from the dashboard. You can choose to start from scratch or use one of our pre-built templates to get started quickly.

Steps

  1. 1Navigate to https://goloris.com/apps and click "Create New App"
  2. 2Choose between "Start from Scratch" or "Use a Template"
  3. 3You’ll then be taken directly to the app builder screen.

2. Configure App Settings

Customize your app's identity by setting the app name, icon, and splash screen. These settings help make your app recognizable and professional.

Steps

  1. 1Open the Settings panel in the Builder
  2. 2Upload your app icon (recommended: 512x512px)
  3. 3Set your splash screen image and define your app name.

3. Create Your Data Source

Build the foundation of your app by creating data tables. Define fields, relationships, and data types to structure your app's content effectively.

Steps

  1. 1Go to the Data Source section in the Builder
  2. 2Click "Create Your First Table"
  3. 3In the dialog, select the table type (Simple or Empty) and enter a table name.
  4. 4After the table is created, click “Add New Column” to define your fields.
  5. 5Choose a data type for each field (text, image, price, date, etc.).
  6. 6If needed, define relations between tables.
  7. 7When finished, click “Save Changes.”

4. Build Your Design

Use the drag-and-drop Design Tools panel to create beautiful interfaces. Add components, customize styles, and arrange layouts without writing a single line of code.

  1. 1Open the Design Tools panel on the left
  2. 2Drag components onto your canvas (buttons, forms, lists, etc.)
  3. 3Customize component properties, colors, and styles in the right panel

5. Manage Pages & Navigation

Configure how users navigate through your app. Choose between Bottom Navigation, Drawer Navigation, or Stack/Detail screen patterns to match your app's structure.

  1. 1Navigate to Navigation Settings in the Builder
  2. 2By default, pages are added using a Bottom Navigation layout
  3. 3You can switch the layout to Bottom Menu, Side Drawer, or Stack Navigation depending on your app’s structure.
  4. 4Use the Add Page button to create new pages and place them within the desired navigation menus.
  5. 5From the Navigation Settings panel, you can choose which pages appear in the bottom menu or the side menu.
  6. 6You can also disable the side menu entirely for a clean, bottom-only navigation style.
  7. 7Detail Pages are ideal for static screens that open when a button or list item is clicked.
  8. 8When finished, click Save Changes to apply your configuration.
